Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of JINSEI.STUDIO. By creating an account or otherwise using the service, you agree to them. If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organization.

JINSEI.STUDIO is an evidence-led innovation program console. It provides a builder workspace for founders, operator and administrator tools for programs, and an investor workspace, depending on your role and program configuration.

You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and passkeys. You must be at least 16, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account independently; younger users may only participate through an authorized program sponsor or institution.

You agree not to use the service unlawfully, interfere with its security or availability, attempt to access data you are not authorized to see, scrape or reverse engineer the service beyond what applicable law permits, impersonate another person, or upload content you do not have the right to share.

You retain ownership of the content you submit, such as evidence artifacts, interview notes, and questionnaire responses. You grant JINSEI.STUDIO a license to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the service, and to share it with program operators or investors only where your program's sharing settings and your own consent allow.

Paid plans are billed through Stripe according to the pricing shown at signup or in your program agreement. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.

The service integrates with third-party providers, including sign-in through Google or GitHub, financial account connections through Plaid, and AI-assisted evaluation through a third-party AI provider. Your use of those integrations may also be subject to that provider's own terms.

JINSEI.STUDIO, its name, branding, and underlying software are owned by us or our licensors. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for its intended purpose; nothing here transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including uninterrupted or error-free operation. Evaluations, readiness scores, and AI-generated output are decision support only, not professional, financial, legal, or investment advice, and should not be relied on as such.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JINSEI.STUDIO's total liability arising from these terms or the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

You agree to indemnify and hold JINSEI.STUDIO harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or content you submit in violation of these terms.

Either party may terminate access to the service as described in your program agreement, or where no separate agreement applies, with reasonable notice. On termination, you may request an export of your data within the window described in our Privacy Policy before it is deleted.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which JINSEI.STUDIO is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, unless a signed program agreement with your institution specifies otherwise.

If we make material changes to these terms, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
